I'm needing to submit transactions to a web service and retrieve some responses that will drive further actions within DOORS. All the data will be in XML format. Are there any libraries out there where someone has implemented an HTTP client or XML parser? So far I've just been implementing the HTTP headers/payloads and rudimentary parsers by hand but this is so 90's.... |
Re: Any HTTP or XML Helper Functions? I would suggest to use OLE automation for doing that job. You could use of course MSXML to parse and handle the XML content. For communication with webservice you could try to remote control the IE. I've provided an OLE_COM include file in telelogic' forum a long time ago, this would help you to write a more readable and simpler code ;) Greetings Reik |

Re: Any HTTP or XML Helper Functions? Reik_Schroeder - Fri Dec 12 09:31:44 EST 2008 My task is to build integration between DOORS and Java/Oracle custom tool(Similar to eMatrix). I hope, This would help me a lot. But I am unable to get the help guide from the location you have mentioned. It says "Maintanance exppired", Could you attach here? Thanks! Regards, Raj |
